I think they should be ashamed of themselves being on food network and all. I think they're overrated and just basic. Nothing really special. My chili burgers were cold when I got them and at the moment I live 2 minutes away so it didn't take me long to get there and get it. Needs to change something up

Too expensive and the food is absolutely no good

Our first visit was last night. Staff was very friendly, our order was prepared when I placed the order. Great prices, delicious food. Will definitely be back!

The food was real good the price is a little high

I know this restaurant has a great reputation but for my wife and I the quality of the food wasn't that good. My fries tasted like the grease was really old. My wife liked the chili sauce that they put on the hot dogs and chili fries. Probably just not my cup of tea.

Can't say enough about how good it was. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole visit. Great food, fair price and excellent service! The chilli burger is a definite must try for anyone there the first time. The place was very clean and even though they were very busy they still had time to chat about the area. I will be returning.

My hometown favorite place

This place has jumped the shark as of now. Overpriced and still ripping of clientele with a "processing fee" when you use a charge card. I think that is even a violation of their service agreement with the card issuers. Food is OK/decent at best now. Do yourself and your gut a favor and stay on I85 and find a place that isn't so busy pimping their customers with Guy Fiere imagery.

Place was great, the chili burger was sort of a sloppy Joe and good. Most folks should get the special with 2 because they aren't big. The wait staff was wonderful, wish I remembered our waitress' name, she was great

Wonderful throw back diner that started in 1932. Theirs enough variety for everyone in your party. Great service and friendly staff. Excellent prices! Also cheap cocktail prices.

Good chili burger and hot dog

Salads are not all that great. You can spend $5 and some change for a salad at Food Lion compared to $8 here Heck, I can make a better salad.Edit Jan 16- Ate a hotdog here and it tasted exactly like the hotdogs I ate in 3rd grade. NASTY

Very unique and satisfying ,When you want a chili burger. Also a bacon and egg spread will top it off. My favorite for 40 years.

A great place to check out in downtown Gaffney! Their chili burgers are a crowd pleaser!

Just wasnt my thing! Ordered a chili cheese burger and you get a sloppy Joe sandwich with a little piece of meat on it. Good customer service and small town feel to the place.

Stopped because it was on DDD. Was a step back in time. Chili burger was tasty. The smoked sausage was more hot dog than sausage. The fried pickles were good. The fatback was pure salt and we didn't care for it.

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this fine place. happy to tell that it was a cool evening and the venue was no doubt one of the reasons for the strong gathering. The crew participated in a very nice manner, the meals were great and my friends were so happy. We shall surely return for more events. thanks very much.

Great local staple, quick decent restaurant with nostalgic feel, very unique, same menu for 30 years, get the chili burger you’ll be surprised if you’ve never been here. Nothing fancy just good local food

Like many, the advertising is what ultimately brought me here. I have been seeing the signs with Guy on them for more than a decade. My wife and I finally decided to give it a go. If I'm being honest, the chili burger did not taste terrible. Although I would not honestly even describe it as a burger, more of a sloppy joe. Even if the sloppy joe from a can taste better than this chili burger. The place is filthy and small. It has a good atmosphere, but it's just dusty, outdated and old. They are still banking on Guy coming by, and not banking on how well their products taste. This is evident by the merchandise they sell at the counter.

I see the billboards every time I drive down I-85 in the Upstate, so decided to make a visit. Not a bad little place. Certainly a throwback diner to a simpler time. Located in downtown Gaffney, it serves your basic dogs and burgers along with soups, all-you-can-eat pintos on Wednesdays, chow chow, BLTs, bologna sandwiches, wings, etc.Had the chili dogs. Chili was certainly meaty, but a tiny bit sweet that won't be to everyone's liking. Charming place. Kind service and worth your time.

I stopped by on a whim from the banner. We had the chili burger which is chili sloppy joe with a meatball in the middle. I really enjoyed it. The diner is very retro in a quaint town. The prices are very reasonable. I'll go again if I'm in the area.

There's place was great it was awesome we live about 70 miles away from here that we watch . The Food Network so we thought we'd check it Out.. We are gonna give it a thumbs up. Worth the drive and we had good quality family fun.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and out of this world food. I eat here all the time and have never been disappointed. Head on down and grab a world famous chilli burger, a cold cheerwine, and some southern hospitality.
